Title: Scratches on z97x-ud5h
Post by: ElCrasto on December 18, 2014, 03:40:32 pm
Hi all,

So I had some problems with CPU and Mobo z97x-ud5h which I sent back to Scan. The confirmed a CPU fault but wouldnt touch my Mobo because of scratches near the PCIe slots. I can only assume I have been heavy handed with my 780 ti...

However before I purchase a new one, can these be repaired easily? I have seen on other forums some nail laquer or electrical tape...

Just thought I would get another pair of eyes on this before purchasing a new mobo.

Thanks in advance.

Martin

What was the original problem.  Did your graphics still work?
