Title: GA-H77-D3H USB 3 not working with USB 3 devices

I have a GA-H77-D3H rev 1.1 motherboard with the firmware F15 and recently I got my first USB3 device and I couldn't make it work on the USB3 Ports.

This is the device: Sharkoon 5-BAY RAID Box (http://www.sharkoon.com/?q=en/node/1809)

I have the Eltron and Intel drivers and the chipstet drivers installed, and I think the BIOS is correctly configured. I even updated it to the latest stable version.

Post by: Deses on January 03, 2015, 01:18:36 pm: Yes, I've tried plugging the cable before and after Windows startup and it does nothing. Sometimes, depending on the USB 3 that I use, Windows make a sound like it detected the device, but nothing shows up. In Drive Management the disk drives doesn't show up, so it's not a problem where the drives don't have a letter assigned.

I'd like to add that USB 2.1 devices work fine on the USB 3 ports and that the Raid Box also works fine plugged on USB 2.1 port. So looks like it's a USB 3 on USB 3 problem. :(

Post by: autotech on January 04, 2015, 01:37:33 pm: It could be that the eltron drivers are not right. There has been a lot of post about eltron drivers causing problems. I would say your USB3 drivers ( Eltron ) are not mature yet. To many post about eltron drivers like I said or it could be they don't support your Raid box.
