Hi to all. Does anyone know if my motherboard accepts high density memories? I am currently using 2x512MB DDR400 PC3200 generic RAMs & planning to upgrade to 2x1GB DDR400 PC3200 RAMs. Most RAMs of this type on ebay seems to be high densities. Also high density RAMs seems to be cheaper than low density ones. My motherboard user manual made no mention on high vs low density. Thanks

ebay's advice:
However 90% of eBay are plagued with High-Density 1GB modules at very low price, and you will be wasting your precious time and money having to return those high density 1GB modules to your seller for refund. So AVOID those 'High-Density - 128Mx4 config' 1GB modules which is usually UNBRANDED and is NO NAME!
Myth: Low Density vs High Density memory modules

In short:-
LOW DENSITY modules have 100% compatibility with ALL systems and ALL chipsets.
HIGH DENSITY modules only have 10% compatibility.
To not risk yourself, it's better to avoid them even if their prices are attractive.
