Hi;
I have a p55a-ud3 i/o problem, I think.
About a month ago my comp started shutting down.
codes are 0x7a and 0xf4. different codes at different times.
Sometimes when rebooting hard drives would be missing.
Other symptoms include network connection slows to a crawl just before bsod.
File transfers to external drive fluctuate wildly .
Comp locks up.
Have had DVD lose connection as well.
Will not come out of Hybernation.
What I have done to fix it.
Reinstalled fresh win 7 pro x64. No help if not worse.
latest drivers from site.
Checked voltage to hard drives with a meter.
Ran memtest, OK
Checkdsk, OK
S.M.A.R.T, OK
CPUID moniter (File attached), 12v low. Checked drives with meter 12v to drives.
Changed bios power settings from s3 to s1. got sleep back working. but no hybernation.
Ran multiple anti virus and malware programs.
Ran the MS fix for 0x7a
I have power settings in win. set for high to stop sleep and hibernation.
Questions
Are there different drivers for Rev1.0 and 1.0b, cant remember what I have.
Where is CPUID getting their reading from? Is it possible to have 2 different voltage readings.
Is my I/O controller shot?
What else should I check?
How do I check mobo Ver.
TIA

Revision is on lower left corner. Is on motherboard not sure if they moved it from that old a model.
The revisions on that board according to gigabyte are 1.0 and 2.0 I don't see a 1.0b.
-
OK it is Rev 1.0

Is it updated to latest bios?
