Hi, i have a graphics card (xfx R9 280X Black Edition) and when i put it in to your mother board and put it on it says no signal. i have the latest bios, the graphics card works in a different pc, the psu is 850w, i tried a different power supply and i got the same problem. i don't know if there is a problem with the mother board or i have to do something in the bios.
Edit: i contacted Gigabyte using esupport and they said:
"Press DEL get into BIOS --> move to BIOS Features Setup --> Change the PCI ROM Priority to Legacy (default is EFI Compatible ROM) --> Save the setting and reboot.
Please check if your graphics card need VGA BIOS update for UEFI compliant mode."
I tried that but i still get no signal, i have tried 2 Hdmi's & 1 Dvi cable into my R9 280X black edition, i think there is something else what i have to do in the bios.
Specs:
Intel i5 3.20Ghz
8GB of ddr3 ram
Gigabyte GA-H61M-DS2 DVI Motherboard
xfx R9 280x Black Edition Graphics card
Artic blue + 850w

Which revision of motherboard do you have. If it is rev 1.0 I can see where it would have trouble with that card but rev 2.0 and 2.1 should do just fine on it.
After looking at online reviews it seems others are have problems with that board also.

It would help if you gave us your system specs. Particularly motherboard model, GPU (Make & model).
And, as a just in case.... double check the BIOS to see if enabling CSM helps (for now). In addition, make sure your monitor is plugged into the card you want to use. Example: if you want to use the HD graphics off the CPU, you'd connect your monitor to the motherboard's GPU. If you want to use say your dedicate AMD/NVidia graphics card, plug your monitor there.
Le us know.
