Title: Microphones not detected and internal mic problems

When I plug my headset in (both mic and headphone jacks) the headphone is recognised but the mic isn't, I tried "show disabled/disconnected devices" and I tried uninstalling and disabling the internal mic. The computer noticed the Jack is in but nothing else.
I can't use the internal mic because it's far too quiet, it barely picks up any sound at all
