Title: Issue with new GTX 970 (G1 Gaming)
Post by: xeht on March 16, 2015, 04:10:09 am
I keep running into various issues with my new G1 GTX 970. I was hoping you all could help me out.

I get the following two errors that are attached.

I read in a couple spots online that it might be conflicting with my old nVidia driver so I used Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) to remove the old driver and the new driver and start new.

Unfortunately, I am still getting those errors.

I also read in a couple places that my new GTX 970 may not be getting enough power from my PSU. I am currently using a Corsair CX 600W. I figured that this would be plently for the GPU. Could this be causing the issue?

I also have another concern. Gigabyte sends two adapters (6-pin and 8-pin) with the card that connect to molex connectors. Seen in attached pictures . My concern is that some of the pins are not the same at the 8 and 6-pin connects on my PSU. You can see in the picture that the ones Gigabyte sent are missing some pins. Should I be using the ones Gigabyte sent me?

Is this a driver issue?

Thanks for all of your help!
