Title: z87x d3h new graphics card no display

Hello everyone

I have replaced my old card ( 6850) with a new r9 280 but on turn  on the display is blank (refitting the old card all is ok)

I have a z87x d3h bios is f9   a 750w corsair psu and 16gb of ram at 1600, the internal graphics is disabled and catalyst 14.9  is installed

any help would be most useful

Can you test the card in another computer? What brand is the card. It is more likely the card than the board.

I agree sounds more like card and not board.

it's a sapphire r9 280 but have no other system to try it on
