Title: Dual bios auto synchronized by default?

Hi,

I have a z87x ud5h and other day I switched to my backup bios by pulling the switch to the left. I noticed the bios version was recent and I've had the mb for at least a year and I know it came with an older version. So was wondering how the second backup bios got updated? I want it to never get updated or altered. Thanks.
