Title: GA-Z87X-UD5 TH: Memory issues
Post by: Jappe on April 12, 2015, 11:01:25 am
I have 4x4 GB memory (Corsair Vengeance® Low Profile — 16GB (4x4 GB) Dual/Quad Channel DDR3 Memory Kit (CML16GX3M4A1600C9)). Using 2 of them the pc boots, but the onboard error LED shows 51. With all four it's purely luck if it boots, but usually I get a blue screen (LED = 51).

What to do? Buy new/other ones?

Intel I7-4770K
Gigabyte GA-Z87X-UD5 TH
Power supply: Corsair RM750
W7 Home Premium 64-bit

Hi there,

if you haven't already done so, check this link: http://forum.giga-byte.co.uk/index.php?topic=15809.msg95427#msg95427 as the OP in that thread is facing a similar issue to you, but with a 32Gb kit.

Thanks for the tip, but it didn't help.
