Title: Why is AERO gone if I overclock North bridge clock?!
Post by: DigDeep on April 15, 2015, 12:59:38 pm
That happens if I set NB from 2200mhz to 2400mhz and it happens on ud3 board if I set NB from 2000mhz to 2200mhz

I see that many gigabyte users have that problem.

p.m. I tested everything for stability, I also added a lot of NB voltage, to see if it would help, but it didnt.

Wierd thing is, if I use FSB clock to overclock NB to 2400mhz Aero works fine.

I thought it has something to do with multipliers, but it hasnt.

And performance is lower if I use FSB clock to overclock NB, then if I overclock it with multipliers

Observed that too with AM3+ and FM2 Gigabyte boards. This most probable shows instability when the NB clock increases. It s strange as on other boards this may happen when going much higher clock wise.
If the NB vid voltage increase doesnt help revert back.
