Title: Gigabyte computer won't go past BIOS screen, what the?

It's been awhile since I've fixed a computer for someone, but this should be easy. Been there, done that. So the motherboard we are dealing with is a GA-870A-UD3. It's probably out of date, but I'll have to double check on that.

What the problem is simple, it starts off with booting with all fans running, the computer beeps, goes to the bios screen, and now it just won't go past that. Here is a Youtube video I made showing just that:

I tried giving the computer my RAM (which is exactly the same) and that didn't make a difference. I read somewhere on Google in saying that this could be a RAM problem considering there are no weird beeping noises that are giving us any clues to what the problem may be.

Have you tried to pull the battery and jump out the cmos pins for about 5 mins. If that doesn't help than it is the memory. Try a different brand of memory.

Alright I'll see if I cant find a different brand of memory in my collection that is DDR3. Only question I have for your theory is, if this computer has been working for over 2 years on one brand of memory, and I swapped the memory with my memory, how could it be the brand of memory if it';s already lasted this long?. Anyways, I will try doing the battery thing, will report back soon. Thanks!.

check if Hdds are seen by the bios?
try booting from DVD?
