Has there been any fix for this issue yet? I've seen quite a few posts about problems with the PCIe 16x slot on this motherboard all of which add up to a design/manufacturing/BIOS issue.
IF the board was designed/manufactured with a flaw, I'd like to exchange it for one that was actually designed/manufactured properly.
If it's a BIOS issue, apparently the latest update doesn't resolve the problem.
I've tried switching from Gen 1, Gen 2, Gen 3, making sure to NOT have the existing on-board vid enabled/plugged in, nothing works. I'm pretty sure this motherboard is bad.

Used @bios utility in Win10 to flash Bios to F11a from F9 and now Asus GTX750ti video card is recognized and works fine.
