Title: Z77-DS3H ram trouble

Hi all
I am having problems with a Z77-DS3H, running win7 home premium 64bit, i am trying to install more ram xms3 @1600
the set up runs fine with 4gb one module but when i put the other module in socket 3 it crashes on windows start up, if itake the 2nd 4gb out it runs fine, tried all four ram sockets and both modules work fine individually but won't work as a pair. any ideas Thanks

are they both the same make and model of ram?
