Hi there,
I have problems with said motherboard...
Since I switched the Noctua NH-D14 to Alphacool Eisberg 240 to cool down my CPU, I noticed that the fans are running pretty high on CPU FAN(1600rpm) and OPT CPU(800rpm) regardless of what Im doing. CPU Temp is ~25-30°C while browsing and watching movies.
I tested 6 120mm fans and its always the same +-150rpm.
I tried Silent mode, manual mode (0,75rpm/°C) but nothing changes...
I asked aunt google, but she couldnt help me.
Please help me...my fans are driving me crazy .-.
Thanks in advance
Alex

I had do some checking and if you have all three plugs connected to the power supply. You will not be able to control it in the bios at all. But if you can get a y connection and plug the fans to the CPU Fan port you might be able to control them.

Have a look at this review regarding the Alphacool Eisberg 240.
It does mention the way the pump cable is powered. And yes, use a 4 pin splitter cable and attach it to the Main CPU Fan Header, so that temperature control/speed control is addressed by the Motherboard.
