Title: AMD A10 7870k Godavari and GIGABYTE GA-F2A55-ds2 Rev 3.0

Hi ,
I own a gigabyte motherboard that uses the A55 chip , and am thinking of updating from my AMD A10 6800k to the new AMD Godavari 7870k , have looked on the motherboard support page and it appears that this motherboard supports the new chip , is this true ?

Yes, this motherboard does support the CPU but you will need to update to latest BIOS FE before installing the new CPU for things to work properly.
