Can you raid as mirror on this board but as a second drive, I want a PCIE card as C:\ and then mirror two 500gb hdd for storage.
Is this possible and what steps. Pcie has to have opsys and bootable

I have a Revo3x2.
Most computers only allow one "hardware" SCSI/SAS/RAID onto a motherboard, and the "card's bios" initialises during boot. You may not be able to use a RAID card and a PCIe card at the same time. The intel 750 may be cheaper, more modern drive, and is much more compatible to Win8 or 10.

I presume that you will use the PCIe drive as C:Boot.  Make sure that you have its driver on a thumb drive and use it during the OS install.

For a purely "software raid" you can use Windows Storage Spaces to Mirror your other drives.

I already have a Revo drive in one machine as C:\ and  hdd for D:\ as storage.
This new build I want touse the Kingston Hyperx Pcie card as c:\ and raid the D:\ Hdd as a mirrored pair. using the MB bios it will not have a raid card.
This is what I need to know
