Title: X99 UD4 Boot Loop + Tons of short beeps
Post by: endinglegacy on September 02, 2015, 03:41:58 pm
Tested with 3 different PSUs
Tried without GPUs attached
QFlashed Bios with latest revision
Tried different ram dimms and slots
Read through the motherboard manual.

Should I RMA the part or is there anything else I can do before that?

I got occasionally tons of short beeps if the external USB-drives were on in  the last computer session.
If you have USB-Drives/printer or whatever connected, disconnect all USB-items and try if it works.

It is likely to be a physical problem. Read this http://forum.giga-byte.co.uk/index.php?topic=16664.0

... and check if your pins in your CPU socket are bent. A problem with the socket in this generation of boards from Gigabyte, it seems to me.
