Title: X99m Gaming 5 load bios fail
Post by: LucaMI on September 08, 2015, 08:14:25 am
Hello guys, I'm having lately a weird issue with my mobo; when I play a bit to games then the next boot the bios can't be loaded. I know that sounds crazy but mostly of the time is this story. Then my Roccat Keyb and Mouse cause a continue boot loop with Windows loading, so basically I have to insert another keyb for login into bios that is quite odd.

I'm using F3 bios with XMP profile loaded. CPU is stock, no OC at all.
Any idea?

Thx

If you have a XMP profile loaded, you are in fact overclocked. What is the XMP speed of your memory? Your board shows supported max speed of 2800, same as mine. When I bought my memory, Gigabyte had the G1 listed as a supported speed of 3000. It won't even boot with the XMP loaded. Since then they revised the list down to 2800. If I manually set it to 2800, it still does not reliably run without boot-looping.
