Title: Z97X-UD3H
Post by: Graceman on September 11, 2015, 11:22:56 pm
Has anyone used the M2 socket on any boards or this one in particular, I have searched for details on this board and there is very little which tends to show its a good solid board. I have had to reconsider and look at this board to get three Video outputs and separate Mouse & keyboard PS2 inputs.
Minimum specification for connections below but also interested in the M2 socket as pcie memory drive. I am thinking of using the Samsung XP941 PCie Express 2.0 xc4 240 GB card.
VGA, DVI-D & HDMI is adequate for my use, plus separate PS2 sockets for Mouse & Keyboard Plus at l;east 4 usb outlets is required

I have used M2 slot on my X99 board and it is very fast too. I have windows 10 on it. The only thing is when you do use the M2 slot. You will lose two of your Sata ports.

That should not be an issue as will be only using 2 internal possibly 3 with dvd drive.
Which two would you lose?
I will not use a graphics card but I might need to add one later would the M2 interfere with that.
