Hello,
I have installed a M.2 PCIex4 NVME drive in to my Gaming 7 motherboard. The motherboard identifies it as being "N1-Name of drive". Shouldn't this be "UEFI-Name of drive" instead? What is the "N1" marking?
Also, when I go to NVME Configuration in the BIOS, it does not list the drive.
Am I doing anything wrong here?

I might be wrong but the only drives that will show up UEFI are the DVD or USB. Again I think the NVME Configuration is there when you have two of them and want to set up as a array (raid).
AS long as you are seeing it, you are doing better then some of the people here. Plus what OS are you going to put on it? If it is windows 10 make sure you have everything set up with the UEFI. If it is only windows 7 all you need to do is use the UEFI DVD drive.

Thank you for the response. That would make sense as to why I don't see it under NVME Configuration then. (I am using ACHI with a single m.2). I am installing Win10. Other than setting the bios OS mode from "Other OS" to "Win 10 WHQL", is there anything else special I need to worry about? I did notice that the BIOS set the boot order to make my drive second and Windows boot option to the first... which I have never seen before, however it seemed to work after I installed Win10 to it.
I installed from Win10 USB via UEFI-USB Win 10, should I of installed directly from the USB port and not the UEFI setting, or does it even matter?

You did everything right and the computer should be booting in about 20 sec or less right. If it is booting really fast you are good to go.
