Title: GTX 960 Fan issue GV-N960OC-4GD
Post by: Theo3131 on January 17, 2016, 09:09:39 pm
Hi all!

I've recently built a PC for a friend which has a GTX 960, GV-N960OC-4GD to be exact. The day after he started complaining of surging noises but he didn't know where it was coming from. I paid him a visit and found out it was coming from the GPU. He says it's very annoying. In an effort to solve this problem, I created a fan profile. However, when I save it to be quiet (under 50%), it doesn't do anything and the surging is still there. Could anyone help me out on how to fix this please? Other people have been experiencing these issues on this exact GPU so it seems to be quite inherent and I am quite disappointed in Gigabyte selling a flawed product. I have a Gigabyte motherboard and it's fantastic, but I just can't accept this. Any help would be much appreciated, thanks!

Thanks!
