Title: No Sound on Ga x58a ud3r rev 1.0
Post by: Graceman on January 23, 2016, 01:43:29 pm
For some time now the sound just disappears off the board usually on reboot it comes back then next time you restart and left overnight no sound again it takes a reinstall of the realtek drivers to recover it then its ok for a week or two then it starts all over again.
The realtek driver is not visible in the harware sound section of the computer management window.

I am running Xp but that has been no problem and the rest of the system is fine.

Its just that its now happening on a more frequent basis but it did happen right from new but I was always able to get the sound back.

Anyone any clues as to why I now have to quite regularly re install realtek drivers, I do have latest but that seem not to matter as any of the ones stored will restore the sound.
