When my comp is in sleep- or hibernation mode it won't wake on Mouse or Keyboard. Running on Windows 10 home. I can't find a setting in BIOS, only for PS2 mouse or keyboard. I see the light on my keyboard blink when I press a button, but system won't start.
Is there a setting in Bios to use or is it a Windows 10 issue?
I don't want to hard shtu off my comp everytime it is in sleepmode.
TIA,
Michael

Where do you have them connected? I would connect them next to the Ps2 port. Those 2 are USB 2.0.
You could try and change this to full support.
USB Support
Disabled - All USB devices are disabled before the OS boot process completes.
Full Initial - All USB devices are functional in the operating system and during the POST.
Partial Initial - Part of the USB devices are disabled before the OS boot process completes. (Default)

Thanks that worked! Didn't think the usb port would matter, but apparently it does.

The were put there for a reason. They are on the same plane with the Ps2 port. But most people will not use them. Usb 3 doesn't work in dos mode they to this day need a driver. Why???? But glad you got what you want.

In contrast to what I posted yesterdag. This morning after my comp went to sleep by itself for being idle to long, I couldn't start it up again.
I think I will order myself a usb to ps2 mouse adapter

But did you try this to set it to Full Initial:
USB Support
Disabled - All USB devices are disabled before the OS boot process completes.
Full Initial - All USB devices are functional in the operating system and during the POST.
Partial Initial - Part of the USB devices are disabled before the OS boot process completes. (Default)

I hadn't tried that because I couldn't find the option in the BIOS. I changed legacy USB support under peripherals to Enabled, but apparantly that was an other setting;)
I finally found it, had to change to Fast Boot to get the option visible. USB was partial. I changed it to full.
Will let you know if that worked.
Thanks
