Title: GA-H170N: no boot
Post by: camel on April 10, 2016, 09:03:01 pm
Hi, got a unit stuck on boot loop.
Tried replacing PSU, RAM and removed GPU, and boot loops still happened.

Anyone got ideas for where to start solving this?
Here’s what I’ve got:
•   GA-H170N-WIFI motherboard
•   Core i5-6500, LGA1511
•   1x KINGSTON HYPER-X 8 GB DDR4
•   EVGA GTX 970 SSC VERSION 3.0
•   Samsung EVO 850 series 250GB SSD
•   CORSAIR CX 500M

Greetings,
Did you flash/update the BIOS...  working previously, now not? Confirm all connections?
Is your RAM (either) on the QVL for the board?
Have you tried a battery pull?  Also may want to have a look at the pins in the CPU socket?

Hi,

I had same problem.
Problem was in my PSU.
I connected Toughpower 600W and get boot loop. Despite on this the PSU works correct with another MB.
When I connect 300W noname PSU it has worked correct.
