My 770TA-UD3 won't post, it gives one short beep every 10 seconds (I think it’s cycling) and a black screen. I have tested the CPU, memory, video and power supply with an Asus board and all work as expected. I have tried every memory configuration with no change. I have tried a different video card from a pci slot. This is the second board with the same problem (rma the first). Has anyone else experienced this or have any ideas. Any help would be appreciated.
Gigabyte 770TA-UD3
AMD Athlon II X4 630
G.Skill 4GB DDR3 1600 (F3-12800CL9D-4GBNQ)
Biostar V9603GT52 GeForce 9600 GT Video Card
Corsair Tx650w Power supply
Thanks bmc

Hi,
From the what you are describing, I think it might be a problem with the BIOS on the Mobo.
If your CPU is the C3 stepping version you will need the F3C BIOS for your board to recognise the CPU and the Mobo probably has the original F1 version that it was shipped with.
If this is the case a BIOS update will cure the problem.
