Title: GA-Z68X-UD3h-B3 plus 2133 Memory Compatability Issue (HELP!)
Post by: Yhan76 on June 16, 2016, 04:52:56 am
Good Day,

I current have the GA-Z68X-UD3h-B3 Rev 1.3 mobo and I am having issue with 2133 Mhz DDR3 (11-11-11-27) Corsair Vengeance Ram issue.  I current have Bios version F12.  I tried using the XMP profile but I'm getting down clocked to 1333 Mhz with wrong timings based on reading thru CPU-Z.  When I try to manually set memory specifications my computer crash or boot loops.

The memory are slotted in the dual channel slot and the motherboard supports memory speed.  My bios is latest non-UEFI version.  I cannot upgrade to UEFI as windows 10 wont allow it.  I am running out of ideas and can greatly use your help.  Thanks in advance.

Hello,

Does your BIOS look like the manual which shows 2 places for you to change the XMP setting,

If you haven't used the Advanced Memory Settings section, try that instead.
Or check both, on the newer boards the Advanced section overrides the Frequency settings.

Also, when you choose a profile in the BIOS, does it have profile 1 / profile 2 and show 2133Mhz?
