Title: Motherboard wont POST, continious short beeps
Post by: jkm9694 on June 20, 2016, 07:20:54 pm
Hello, I have recently purchased a GA-F2A68HM-HD2, a AMD X4 860K, and 4gb of Ram, Put all components in, and i get no boot, just a lot of fast continous beeps, that are too fast to count. I have checked the ram is seated correctly, tried another PSU, tried different ram, tried another graphics card, all to no avail. The same beep's are still there. the GPU is a R9 280x.

I have tested with a different GPU, and without a GPU, the beeps still exist.

The beeps last 30 seconds, and then stop for 2 and restart for another 30 seconds.

Any suggestions?

I have tried another MB also!

Thanks

JOe

Hi there,

With the UEFI BIOS, continuous short beeps would usually indicate an issue with the RAM.

What Revision is your motherboard?
What RAM are you using?
