Title: Gigabyte G1 GTX1070 LED stuck on red color

When I installed the card into my system, the RGB would cycle between different colors as expected. As soon as I installed the Xtreme Gaming Engine utility, the lights got stuck on red and will not change no matter how much I fiddle with the LED settings in the software.

Some others have been having issues with the LEDs too, for the G1 1080:

Hopefully it's a software problem.

edit: after uninstalling Xtreme Gaming Engine and restarting my system twice, it's no longer stuck on red and is instead doing the rainbow color cycle. So it's definitely a software issue -- I'll stick with using AfterBurner for now.

I've never been able to run the Xtreme Gaming Engine utility. Click and nothing.

I have tried it with clean windows 7 and windows 10 in a new x99 designare build and an old x58 extreme PC but nothing.

Not happy but still waiting some updates from my support ticket. But time is ticking away before I send back within 14 days of purchase.
