HI
I have this Mobo with a FX 4300 CPU built about 2 months ago. Works fine with Windows 7 64 bit. Recently bought 8 gigs of Patriot Xtreme 1866 RAM. Left it a few days running at default 1333 with no probs then enabled XMP which showed RAM running at 1866 with correct timings and Vdram. BSOD every time. Got in touch with Gigabyte who told me to upgrade BIOS from F1 to F6f. Downloaded upgrade but cannot reflash. Qflash will not allow me to select any options except "exit Qflash" and @Bios says "incorrect Bios part number" and when I try to download direct from server, it says that I already have the most up-to-date BIOS i.e F1. So can anyone help please and will a BIOS upgrade really solve this problem?

Do you have the correct BIOS downloaded for your board?
You may update the BIOS with QFlash Utility.

Indeed. 2 revs of this board, BIOS files are not interchangeable.

Take it you have rev1 since you stated F1 in your original post. Have you tried F2j?
