New build, if I plug in hdd and ssd it boots from ssd Windows 10 but hdd not visible in bios or Windows. If I unplug ssd and plug in hdd only it recognizes hdd in bios. I'm pretty sure I don't need a raid configuration so why won't the board read both at the same time? I just want simple gamin setup throw program files and os on ssd and everything else on hdd - both drives work it just won't read both at same time.

Said another way: if I have m2 ssd connected bios doesn't recognize hdd. If I unplug ssd it will recognize hdd

I have an a6 error code: detect and install all currently connected scsi devices

Something else I noticed is if I have m2 ssd connected nothing in sata ports show up in bios. But if I unplug m2 ssd both my sata cd drive and hdd show up in bios. Why does the ssd disable everything in sata ports?

I'm a noob. Apparently m2 ssd disables certain sata ports. I wish the manual was more clear on which ones it disables

Greetings,
A matrix for both AHCI and RAID modes are provided. Each denotes supported devices and which ports are enabled/disabled based on the type and number of M.2 devices you have installed. Take a look at your manual again and let us know if this remains unclear.
