Title: H97N-WIFI overclocking g3258
Post by: viperfx on August 17, 2016, 01:18:09 am
Hi,

I am trying to OC the CPU and I have tried to use EasyTune and even a small change to clock speed causes the system to not boot into windows.

Is there something I am doing wrong? Do I have to OC manually?

If anyone has experience with this combination, please do share. I am using F8, was on F5. Both same result.

Have you tried OC in BIOS? Do you have a good cooling system?

Nothing in regards to systems spec?  All of the components in your system need to work together for a successful over clock.  Telling us you have this board and CPU (while OC friendly) doesn't guarantee success or give us much to go on.  What about your memory?  Is it on the QVL for the board?  Is it OC friendly?

Trying manually might help.
