That's your BIOS sir.

7A~7F Reserved for AMI use.

What do you have??  Black screen, flashing cursor?  Have you tried tapping F8?  If the board has a PS/2 port it might be helpful to dig up an old keyboard.

Start by disconnecting power and pulling the battery.  You need to invoke the back up BIOS.  I did not see a BIOS_SW on your board to activate the second BIOS.  Do you know how to do this or did you need instructions?  What BIOS were you running?  Had you flashed from an earlier version, or do both chips have the same revision?  I'd try and boot from the secondary BIOS and reflash or restore the previous version if this is possible.

The monitor does come on but the PC powers up with the 7F error. I was running F5 Bios version which i had flashed from ver F3. I will appreciate instructions on how to activate the second bios if possible but will also be searching on the net on how to.  Thanks

One thing did you pull the battery and clear the cmos after you updated it. once that is done then set it to the default settings?

I did the bios update a some months back and all was well, just got the error yesterday. However i don't remember pulling the battery and clearing cmos after the update.

#3 is doable, but more challenging because you usually need more hands.  I would suggest removing your vid card if installed, connect to onboard graphics and try options 1 and 2 again.
