Greetings,
Maybe one of these will help?  Windows 10 like earlier versions allows you to uninstall an update, or restore to a previous point in time.  If you are using the developer preview feature, I would stay away from Insider Preview Builds unless you are running on a non-production system or one you aren't counting on to work smoothly.

The OS should have everything the chip needs to run.  You didn't say what troubleshooting steps you've taken?  If it were me, I'd try to go back to what worked previously, and not throw something else on top of the problem.  System File Checker for example.

Here's a link, accept the terms and have a look.

You might want to look at this FAQ on Asus:
Why is there no Windows 10 driver for some motherboards provided on ASUS official site?

What to do if there is no driver for Windows 10 on ASUS official site?
https://www.asus.com/us/support/FAQ/1015050/

If you compare the list with X58 chipset motherboards, it means your motherboard might not be able to support Windows 10. Some things may work while other things may not work.
