I have enabled Resume By Alarm on my Z170X-UD5 desktop, but the machine never wakes at the specified time. I've tried changing the time, disabling and then re-enabling the Resume, but it still isn't working.
The date and time shown in the BIOS setup are correct.
ErP is disabled.
I see there is an F5 BIOS available, but the note only mentions DDR compatibility.
Is there anything else that can interfere with the Resume By Alarm feature? I've used the Resume By Alarm feature with several other Gigabyte motherboards for years without issue--this is the first time I've seen this problem.

Not that I'm aware of.
Resume By Alarm > Wake Up by hour, Minute, Sec, then enter time in 24hr format.
Have you allowed a full 24 hours to see if the feature works?
I'd perform a battery pull, start up, enter BIOS, reconfigure all settings and wait 24 hrs to confirm.

I contacted Gigabyte support and after confirming the Resume By Alarm settings, the support tech recommended that I try disabling the Windows 10 "Fast Startup" feature, which I wasn't aware of.
I disabled the Windows 10 Fast Startup option and the machine now automatically turns on with the Resume By Alarm. Works great now.
Here is an article on the feature and how to disable it:

So it would appear their BIOS doesn't work with hybrid sleep and only supports resume by alarm from a cold boot. Hopefully your post will help others interested in this feature. 8)
