Hello there,
for gaming reasons, I intend to install a copy of windows XP on my 2nd SSD.
However, XP does not support SATA and you have to include a SATA driver in the install CD.
I found SATA drivers for my mobo on the site, but they seem to be for win7-win10 only...
Any ideas what to do (or where to get a working SATA driver that I can incorporate into WinXP install CD?)

Try intel's website or one of the other driver websites. Be care what you D/L if the latter.
Should be no reason for you to need XP for modern gaming purposes.
Longshot if you decide to stick with that OS.

Intel ended support for Windows XP with the Series 7 Chipset. The Z87 Chipset is Series 8 and does not support Windows XP and there is no driver support for that OS.
You may try Windows XP Mode from a supported OS.

Well, IDE mode will have to suffice :-[
(WinXp is for older windows games that refuse to work win Win10 on any compatibility settings - some actually do).
Should all things fail, I'll try Win7 as my 2nd OS once agian, but win7 isn't much better in compatibility department.
Thanks.
