Hi, I have a X58A-UD7 Rev 2 and am trying to update to the FD version to get 3tb+ disk support.
I tried to update via the utility in Bios but it complains size incorrect.
Then, I tried to use @Bios to update - I choose Update Bios from GIGABYTE Server, and choose Ver FD. Unfortunately, it will then report Runtime Error - gwflash.exe with error message abnormal program termination.
When I try to update from disk, I would choose X58AUD7.FD, but then I get error message "Can not load ROM image from BIN file. Maybe BIN file size not match."
I am running win 7 sp1 64bit Enterprise.
Please help - Thanks!

I'd suggest using a bootable USB drive with efiflash to get past this issue.
You can use rufus or HP format utility to create the bootable USB stick, then copy the extracted BIOS image to the root of the USB stick.
