Hi All,
I've just bought this motherboard but I'm having an odd issue.
I have 4 sticks of 4GB Crucial Ballistix Sport 2400 16-16-16-39. When I have all 4 stick in the slots the system fails to post. If I remove any one of the sticks then the system will post without issue. I've tried the sticks in a number of combinations without success.
The board replaced a faulty MSI Z 170 A Pro and all 4 sticks worked in that.
I had F5 of the BIOS and I've recently flashed to F20.
Regards,
Rob

It also failed with the F5 bios? if not, and they worked with the previous board, the new motherboard is faulty.

It arrived with the F5 BIOS and it wouldn't post so I upgraded it to the F20 BIOS to check if that would fix the issue and it never.
Thanks,
Rob

Greetings,
Have you tried using XMP Profile setting?
Can you also try settings the memory parameters manually in MIT, voltage, timings, etc and see if this helps. Lots of compatibility problems with ballistix 2400Mhz memory have been reported. I'd also try running the memory at 2133 as well.
