Title: Bios unstable.. need downgrade
Post by: Rhilay on April 02, 2017, 11:53:22 pm
Hello everyone. I am using a Gigabyte GA-B85M-HD3 rev 1.0 my problem is that yesterday i updated the bios due to an error where my pc was going off after exactly 30 minutes in bios or desktop and the  update seemed to fix it.. now the f11 version of bios ( which is the one i updated to ) it makes my windows load really slow.. the most i waited was 20 mins then turned it off because i was going crazy. . Also when i turn on the pc it goes on then off after 5 seconds and i have to start it again.  my question is... is there any way to go back to the old bios version? I made a backup before updating..  ( not the dual bios backup.. just a bin file ) tho when i try to use q-flash i get a message where it says that it's outdated and i should download the latest version . Is there any way to fix this ? Thank you. And sorry for my bad english

Did you throw the switch on the motherboard for backup bios? Also what made you think that bios upgrade would fix your 30min issue which sounds like it is either a overheating issue or your power supply is faulty did you investigate those?

I agree with sono.

If downgrading becomes your only option, here's the thread:

thank you for replying. well i checked and there was no overheating issue..  i had a weird issue if i pressed restart switch or even restart the pc from windows.. the pc would go off then go on again.. and i don't thinl that was normal.. since i upgraded the bios both of my.problems were gone ( the shut down after 30 mins and the restart problem ) thank you once again
