I have discovered a strange RAID issue with my GA-MA790FX-DQ6
The RAID won't work without the IDE drive connected....If I remove the IDE drive I get "no boot device found".
even if the RAID is primary boot, so why does the motherboard somehow include the IDE drive in the SATA2 raid?

The new motherboard is Asus Corsshair 4 Formula, and yes it's AMD chipset/RAID controller on it, but when I place the disks in the new motherboard, only one of the drives is detected as a RAID, and on my old motherboard, I need a IDE drive connected to get a boot.
So, I want to migrate the raid to the new system without the IDE drive issue....
