I'm really stuck as what to do as ive only had the board 5 days. there is no audio showing in my device manager apart from my usb headset and my monitors. has anyone else had the problem as I'm stumped as what to do

Hello,
Do you see anything in device manager?
What happened when you installed the Realtek audio drivers? (download from gigabyte/your boards web page)
-
Yes I installed realtek drivers from gigabytes website but nothing shows up in device manager apart from my usb headset and the Nvidia drivers

Is the Windows installation clean / done on this motherboard? (Windows 10?)
Sometimes software related issues occur when you try to move from one board to another.
Your RAM, how many sticks and can you try alternating your memory sticks (swap the slot order)
If for example the memory is faulty it can cause hardware issues, if the sound chip has been mapped to a faulty region.
Any add-in PCI-E cards?
Other than that, it might be faulty.

Yes it's a fresh install I have only two sticks or ram and tried them in alternate slots. There are no extra cards besides my graphics card

onboard audio is enabled in the bios?
Usually there is such an option there but dunno about your particular board
-
only for hd audio

My whole system Is going to the store where I purchased the board so they can see for themselves. And make a decision themselves to give me a new board or not

all sorted. there were bent pins on the CPU which im surprised the pc still worked.
