Hi all!
I have a Gigabyte GA-945GCMX-S2 v6.6 motherboard and I want to install a WinXP on the PC.
I have looked for a few hours for the SATA driver to integrate to the installation disc - I can't find it.
Chipset:
1. Northbridge: IntelĀ® 945GC Express Chipset
2. Southbridge: IntelĀ® ICH7
3. Realtek 8110SC Gigabit Ethernet controller
4. Realtek ALC888 audio codec
Link to the motherboard page on the Gigabyte web site:

Appreciate your help,
Gabi.

Hi,
Looking through the manual for this Mobo http://www.gigabyte.com.tw/Support/Motherboard/Manual_Model.aspx?ProductID=2521&ver=#anchor_os I'm not sure if the hardware actually supports RAID and that might be why there are no drivers available.
Maybe someone else can say if this assumption is wrong.

Hi!
Thanks for your reply :)
I don't want to do a RAID system - I have one HDD.
The Win XP instalation disc does not have SATA drivers and when trying to install the OS it does not recognize the HDD. I can try to change in the BIOS IDE mode but I want the SATA.....
Thanks again,
Gabi

Give it a go with "intel sata download matrix"
