Hi,
My System is the following:
GA-Z270X K5
Core i7-7700K
Corsair H60
Crucial Ballistix Sport LT (2 * 8 GB)
Assus GeForce 1060
Dell UltraSharp 27" 5K
My Dell has two connections:
2 Display ports - for dual stream 5k 60 hz
1 Dispkay port - for 4k 60hz
Because I use my PC as a dual boot Windows 10 & Hackintosh I connected the NVIDIA dual display ports and the board single display port.
IF I connect all the cables with the computer turned on I can boot in both modes (5k & 4k).
When I turn off the PC and turn ON the computor stalls in boot screen (DEL - SETUP / F12 - Boot Menu) & freezes.
I have found out that the only way to overcome this is to disconnect the cable to the internal motherboard display port.
Is this a BIOS BUG? THis is the strangest thing that happened to me, motherboard related.
Must I change anything in the BIOS parameters?
Thanks,
Luis

Hello,
There are some issues with 20pin vs 19pin Display port cables, which type are you using?
19pin is the recommended one for connecting to a GFX card.

Hello,

19pin is the recommended one for connecting to a GFX card.
How can I check that? I'm using the same cables to connect to my Dual Stream without any problem.

Do you see 20 pins or 19 when looking at it?

And are they both connected, test pin 20 to pin 20 with a multimeter.
