Hello,
I got F6 bios.
From App center and @BIOS(windows 10 64) when i try to Update from Server i get Warning The remote server returned and error: (500) Syntax error, command unrecognized. I tried with no software firewall and also i checked the logs in my router with no result.
If i try Update from File i get ERROR Update BIOS Failed.
I also tried Q FLASH from BIOS and the version didn't change.
Sometimes when i power on the system and afterwards i power on the monitor Asus VG248 the monitor makes a weird random loud noise and the screen is like an old tv with no reception and i have to poweroff the system in order to fix this. The cable is an ibra 1.4 hdmi.

Hello,
Can you use Qflash and try version F22?
-
Neither version 20 or 22 works . :(
I wonder what improvements have been made in versions F7-F19.
Is there any link at Gigabyte site with the checksum of the bios files ?
-
The intel bios guard must be disabled while upgrading ?
-
With the Gigabyte bios files, no as these should be automatically allowed to run.
But worth trying it, the option is meant to protect from malware / viruses altering the BIOS.

How can i contact Gigabyte ?
How can i be sure that the bios that i downloaded is from Gigabyte and it is not altered by a third party ?
My older motherboard was Gigabyte and i was very happy with the product, with UEFI bios i feel like a beta tester.

They have a support ticket system,
http://esupport.gigabyte.com/Login/Index?ReturnUrl=%2f
If the download link is on their website, it is likely to be genuine.

I did a load optimized defaults and the bios finally upgraded!
Also i figure how to login to the support ticket system, there is no notification or requirement, the password needs to be weak with simple words and numbers, if you enter a strong password during registration it will be accepted but you wont be able to login. There is always the password recovery for a working weak password.
Somebody might find useful these information.
