Title: Z77N Wifi not outputting a signal with any AMD graphics card (but Nvidia works)

My Z77N wifi is behaving very strangely, not outputting a signal on my 290X. I managed to borrow some graphics cards from friends to test further, and discovered that on a 270X and a Fury X, there is also no video signal, but on all Nvidia cards tested, the video comes on just fine. An older HD5450 also works fine.

Can anyone tell me what might be the problem here? (I'm running Windows 8.1 - but the problem manifests even during POST).
