Title: GA-965P-DS3 and Q8300

Hi,
I have a GA-965P-DS3 and it is wokring fine with a E6300 CPU. I would like to change that CPU for a Q8300. So I had a look on the CPU supporte4sd list. http://www.gigabyte.com.tw/Support/Motherboard/CPUSupport_Model.aspx?ProductID=2314 and this CPU is supported.
  -- I  have upgrade the BIOS to version F14  but as soon as I change the CPU the Unit does not start the tipical "bip" is missing and the screens still on balck.

Does anyone can tell me how to get the CPU on that Motherboard working.

So you can't enter the bios at all now?

Sounds like you have a problem that hasn't been resolved. We shall have to look into it.

What revision motherboard are you using ?
