put together my computer today.
all working well
but sometimes the mother board speaker would just beep once.
is this happening to anyone else?
i haven't turbo boosted it, and it's freezing right now in sydney so it's not the temperature.
any ideas?

I get the same thing with my P55A UD4 rev 1.0. The mobo speaker beeps once every few minutes.

i haven't heard it for a while now, don't know what fixed it.

Check your CPU fan, assuming you have the CPU fan failure alarm turn on in the BIOS. Perhaps the fan has some issue. Mine is beeping (screeching) for about 4 seconds coming out of sleep and I found the CPU fan doesn't spin up as fast as everything else when coming out of sleep.
