Title: GA-P35-DS3R Power LED connector
Post by: Z.K. on May 28, 2010, 06:07:58 am
I was wondering if anyone had any information concerning the pinout of the Power LED connector on the GA-P35-DS3R motherboard.  The case I am using does not utilize that connector so I would like to add an LED to my case so that I know when it is StandBy mode.

According to the manual, it says:

Pin No.                Definition
1                          MPD+
2                          MPD-
3                          MPD-

To me it looks like pins 2 and 3 go to the same place so I should be able to use pin 2 or 3 for the ground of the LED, but I just want to make sure.  I am assuming that MPD+ is 3-5v.
