Hi,
I want to know with regards to the case power connectors/reset switches etc..
Why does it have two power connectors near the reset connectors?
One is 3 pin, and one is 2 pin?
And in the manual it says the 2 pin can change colors or something?
-
If I understand your question correctly there is only one Power Switch connector the other two are Power LED connectors one of which is for multi information eg Power/Sleep/ Message modes.

Yes, what I mean was why there is two power led connectors.
On has 2 pins and one has 3 pins?
In the book it says the 2 pin is for messaging?
But I connect my power led case to the 2 pin or 3 pin and it makes no difference it just lights up to show it is on.
But isn't the 2 pin led suppose to send a message and able to change colors or something...when it is in sleep mode?
Do I need to buy a 2 color LED to connect it there so it can change colors when sleeping?

You need a different LED to enable it to show two colours.

You need a different LED to enable it to show two colours.
MSG/PWR (Message/Power/Sleep LED, Yellow/Purple):
Connects to the power status indicator on the chassis front panel. The LED
is on when the system is operating. The LED keeps blinking when the sys-
tem is in S1 sleep state. The LED is off when the system is in S3/S4 sleep
state or powered off (S5).
That's what it says in the book.
Now why does it put yellow/purple? What does that mean?
Normally LED needs two connector + and - ,
So how would u connect two led?
I think u would need to buy one LED that can change two colors, that is the only way the messaging would work?

Yes that's right. You have a special LED that changes colour depending on the voltage applied to it.
