Title: GA-EG41M-S2H No 5.1?

Hi everyone I have a GA-EG41M-S2H motherboard which is supposed to support 5.1 via the Optical out.

I am running windows 7 and when I configure the audio from the control panel I only get a 2 channel option nothing else in the drop down menu.

I have tried running the realtek hd audio manager  and I can not find anywhere the option to select 5.1 output.

Has anyone managed to get 5.1 audio working on this board? Is there anything in bios I may need to set?

Really driving me crazy and help is appreciated!

If you have a HD graphics card make sure that you disable the HD audio side of it.
